Missionpalooza
For one week each summer, St. Paul’s becomes “home” for around 75 teenagers from all around the dioceses of West Missouri and Kansas. These youth come to St. Paul’s for Missionpalooza, a week of mission work, reflection, and fellowship in the middle of the urban maze.
Volunteer sites include Operation Breakthrough, Wayside Waifs, Habitat for Humanity, and other small sites across the city. After a day at their worksites, the kids return to St. Paul’s for dinners prepared by parishes in the Kansas City metro area, family groups (small groups that study, reflect upon, and discuss the scriptural lesson for the day and their experiences at their worksites), and worship.
Missionpalooza is a ministry of the youth programs of the dioceses of West Missouri and Kansas.
