The Altar Guild’s role is to prepare the church for worship; they care for and prepare the linens, vessels, vestments, and flowers for every liturgy at St. Paul’s, including weddings and funerals, and prepare “festival altar” decorations for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other celebrations in the life of the parish.
The Altar Guild is an eclectic group of parishioners: working, retired, men, women, single, parents, and grandparents, so scheduling is flexible. The Altar Guild is always looking for new members, and invites anyone who is interested to come and work behind the scenes as silent caretakers of St. Paul’s sacred spaces and liturgies.
