Knowing and Telling the Stories of our Lives

Getting to know the story of our lives and the stories of our communities more fully enriches our relationship with God and empowers us to do the work God call us to do. We know that God is present with us in each and every moment of our lives, from the highest highs to the lowest lows and everywhere in between. For any number of reasons, we can miss that presence and being to wonder how God has been with us. We also know that discovering more and more of God's movement in the story of our lives is how we can share with others what our faith means to us and why we continue to practice it. And, discovering the history of our community connects us more deeply to who we are now as we continue to be a people who build the Kingdom of God on earth.

Join us on Wednesday evenings in Lent for the return of our Wednesday Evening Soup Suppers. This year, our speakers and table conversations will center us on story: discovering more of who we are as individuals and the community of St. Paul's and learning about how God has been and always will be present with us throughout our lives. We will spend one session telling the story and history of St. Paul's and sharing about our own personal histories that have brought us to where we are now. Then, we will spend four weeks hearing from local clergy and interfaith leaders who will share their story with us so we might learn more about our own faith in God.
